Here's a tip:
If you ever find yourself in an alternate dimension/time strip where the Marx Brothers are still alive, and you pop backstage to see them, and they look at you like that...run.
One of my favorite things to read about were they're off-camera antics. Apparently, as nutty as the four of them were on stage, they were worse in the mundane world. My favorite story is probably the one about them ganging up on Alexander Woolcott and force-stripping him down to his underwear. Why? For the hell of it.
Notice--the Four of them were nuts. That means Zep too. It's weird to think of him as being trouble, but he was. Probably second to Chico in trouble-trouble, somewhere behind Harpo for "screw-with-people-for-the-heck-of-it" trouble. But they were all crazy. Glee.
