TW-- Broken

Torchwood Series 1 pretty much sucked. Torchwood Series 2 might as well be a completely different show.

I love Owen. I liked him in Series 1 where he was a shallow, misanthropic dick. In Series 2...I absolutely love him. The tea scene in "Fragments" is just heartbreaking.

But poor lad, life (or the absence thereof) kind of sucks for him now. Can't even drink that delicious alcoholic beverage in front of him. But he must still order one from time to time, to stare at and help him feel a bit more human.
Really, I just wanted to do something with his bandaged hand. I think that's a great thing to add to his character design--a small enough change, really, but powerful enough when you remember why it's there. He doesn't even get to have a scar or anything. Just a bandage.

Man, I'm sorry, I love Owen.

(Plus, I'm sorry, Burn Gorman is just sexy. Funny-looking. But sexy.)
