So I'm getting back on the horse and trying to turn out some real pages after a particularly inspiring review at Dragon*Con. Took me a lot longer than it should've, so here's hoping that the more of these I sit down and do, the faster I get them done.

A very well composed page indeed! For the sake of being super nit-picky, I'd skew the panels by tugging the lower right corner down a bit in order to be even with the rest. And I'd watch the ellipse on your hanging light in the second panel.

Too much critique? Sorry. I'll just say IT'S AWESOME and scamper away.

Nononono, it's not too much critique at all. I'm glad you mentioned it, because the light was something I fudged and I really shouldn't've. I went in on the original and set up a proper grid and all to actually Do It Right. I'll have to post the fixed version later.

They are dead and smelly. And thankfully, none of them have moved on their own yet. And once the skin and fat is cleared away, they're actually quite interesting! Still not looking forward to the surgeries on giant (living!) pigs. *shudders*

I miss you as well! And I always look at your stuff. Sometimes I leave comments on your LJ, but I fear they go unnoticed. It's good to hear back from you!

(Wilson, here BTW) Heheh. Great comic though; it really has that classic hoodlum hideout feel to it and there are so many nice little half-hidden touches like the empty safe, the toys, et. all.

Very nice! :) I love Evan's (it is Evan, right? With the tooth-gap?) kinda smug look on the first panel contrasting with the last panel - what's happening to draw all the guys' attention? The layout of the lair is magnificent, especially in panel two; you really make the walls and floor look lived-in and the furniture has great character too =D

Can't wait to see it inked and coloured! Are you posting it on the comm?
