A few years after the war, a few years after half of his heart was ripped out, and amazingly, smiling doesn't seem impossible any more.

George, Lee, Verity, and little baby Fred enjoy a picnic after a pick-up game of Quidditch, with the promise of fireworks once the sun sets.
I like to think this would be on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, years later, as a celebration and tribute.


If you're ever in a rough patch and need to feel like things will be alright, I can't reccomend Great Big Sea's Something Beautiful* album enough.
