Great Big Sexy

I mean Great Big Sea. Yes, that's what I meant. Same thing, right? Of course.

Anyone who's known me for any length of time should be used to my ever-changing Latest Obsessions. Well, this is my new one.
They're this fan-tastic band out of Newfoundland that I found through *this music video* (Doctor Who, for any interested). Their music is phenomenal, but it's seeing the lads--sorry, the b'ys--in action that seals the deal, I think. I liked the music pretty well, but when I got the Great Big CD & DVD for Christmas and got to see what they and their concerts looked like...yeah, totally blown away. I haven't stopped gushing, and it's been about two weeks now.

And let's not forget that they're just hot. Well, okay, fine, Alan and Sean are hot. Bob...Bob is hot because the man plays like, a million instruments, and plays them beautifully. But Alan's constant, infectous smile totally won my heart.

This is just a quick sketch I did while watching Scrubs. I'm pretty pleased with how Alan came out. Sean could be a bit better, and Bob...hm. I drew him short-haired. I don't know if he's cut his hair since The Hard and the Easy, but really hope he has--looked so much better with it's short. And he looked better with the goatee, and I don't say that about many people.
