Baby Brothers can be such pains...
MARX MIDGETS!!!
Started out just as a drawing of Chico (who is starting to steal my heart. If you'd told me it would've happened two weeks ago, I'd've laughed). Then an odd looking Harpo popped up, proudly displaying the watch that he'd managed to save from his brother. So then I threw Groucho in. But when I thought about Chico as the big brother, I realized that included all of his brothers. So I attempted to draw Zeppo (curse your good-looking blandness!) and added Gummo in as well (very tricky, since I could only find about two pictures of him around that age).
Not one of my best pics, but one of my better executed ideas, I think. Chico came out looking a little more wry than I intended, Harpo looks...funny, and Zeppo...*sigh* I like Zeppo, I really do. But he is so cursed hard to draw.
I think that's one of my favorite things about the Marx Brothers--they're brothers. Anyone who's been around me for the past month can tell you that I have been ranting on (sickeningly so by now, I imagine) about how much I love my family, even though we don't always get along. And I loved reading the bit of Harpo's autobiography that I could get my hands on. I want to knowmore about Gummo. Anyone who got his nickname by sneaking up on people is fun in my book.
And I really am falling in love with Chico...how can that man be sexy (is that even the right word?) I always thought he was kinda creepy before. ...I blame the piano solo in Horsefeathers ("Maybe it's-a better if I don't sing either).

I love the picture, you did a great job! It's great to see that other people still love the Marx Brothers. I try and get my husband and friends to watch them and it's like pulling teeth from a lockjawed crocodile.
